ROTOBLOC PSP enables these manoeuvres to be performed safely, with a single machine and operation.

Current methods :
For transport, handling and safety reasons, less than 500 mm - wide coils are transported ''flat'', i.e.vertical axis on wooden frames. For narrow widths, several coils can be stacked on the same framework, in witch case they are separated by wooden inter-layers.
These days, change in axis and coil-loading operations are carried in axis and coil-loading operations are carried out 2 ways:
- Either using a tipping coil, after which this coil is picked up by the bridge crane hook.
- Or the fork ends of a forklift truck.
These solutions prove hazardous,even dangerous.

NEW SOLUTION

Principle :
- The TILTMATIC is designed to be loaded with the coil flat (vertical axis) using the forklift truck's fork directly.
- The swing support leg combined with the truck's translation movement rotate the coil a quarter turn during the first part of the run.
- The last part of the Tilmatic's run pushes the coil onto the chuck.

Performances :
- The coil is always picked up the same way, using its interior diameter which enables a fixed loading height on the decoiler.
- The system is reversible : an incomplete coil is placed flat again (vertical axis) by reversing the operation.

Simplicity :
- A single translation motor enables the coil to be tilted and pushed onto the chuck.
Remarks : The coil only be pushed onto the chuck if the jaws are correctly positionned. 
                     The spindle's expansion frees the Tiltmatic's pin (hook).

Safety :
- No manual intervention needed from unloading the coil from the forklift to the chuck expansion. 
- Extremely stable throughout its movement : rotation + translation. 
- Translation on the ground on ''closed rails'' that remove any risk of the coil coming off the rails and crushing. 

Reduced space 
- Small rails on the floor to run
- Small section pin (hook) to fit between the spindle's jaws.
